Q1. I am having problems viewing the content on your web site. I can't see any of the images or content. Please help. Answer:Your browser's (Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator) cache which is a temporary storage location on your hard drive where recently-visited web pages are stored to save time and allow pages to load faster when you are surfing the Web. Occasionally, some saved information can cause browsing problems. To solve this problem you may need to clear you cache and refresh your browser. When you clear your cache, it replaces the old information by reloading the current pages and when you refresh your browser, it correctly loads the page when pages are missing graphics, links are not working or pages are taking too long to download. Follow the steps below on how to do this. STEP 1: Open a new browser and click the Tools menu and select Internet Options (Figure 1-1). This will open the Internet Options box (Figure 1-2). STEP 2: Click the “Delete Files” button under the Temporary Internet Files (Figure 1-2). By clicking the Delete Files button, you are deleting the old pages that you are currently viewing from your cache so that you can view the new pages STEP 3: On the Delete Files box is a checkbox with the words “Delete all offline content”. When you click this checkbox, you are deleting all the old pages in your cache so that you can view the new pages (Figure 1-3). STEP 4: Click OK then wait for the Hour glass icon to disappear and then click OK again on the Internet Options box (Figure 1-2). STEP 5: Refresh screen by clicking the Refresh icon or by using the keyboard shortcut CTRL-R (Figure 1-4). Q2. I am having problems trying to logon to my account using homebanking. I get error messages. Can you help me? Answer: When the Security setting or Privacy setting of your browser is high, it blocks all the security sites to use cookies. And you get the following error messages: To solve this problem, you may need to change your browser settings to allow Comtech website to use cookies. STEP 1: Open a new browser and click the Tools menu and select Internet Options (Figure 2-3). This will open the Internet Options box (Figure 2-4). STEP 2: Click on the “Privacy” tag. Then click on the “Sites...” button in the middle (Figure 2-4). This will open the Per Site Privacy Actions window (Figure 2-5). STEP 3: In the Address of Web Site field of the Per Site Privacy Actions window, type in “https://secure.comtechcu.com”, then click “Allow” button (Figure 2-5). STEP 4: Comtech website will show up in the list of Managed Web sites (Figure 2-6). Click OK button to apply the change. STEP 5: Click the “OK” button to close the Internet Options window. Q3.
